Fees and Sessions

Elizabeth House is open 51 weeks of the year. We are closed on all Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year. We run two staff INSET days per year where the nursery is closed to children.

Fees are payable throughout the year, including Bank Holidays, INSET days and during periods of sickness.

Government funding does not cover the full cost of delivering high-quality childcare at Elizabeth House. While we offer fully funded places that meet all statutory requirements, availability is limited and subject to overall capacity. We encourage early application to secure your preferred place

If Oxfordshire County Council does not fund a child’s place (e.g., due to extended absence or withdrawal), parents will only be charged for any non-funded sessions used in addition to their received funded hours, in line with local authority policy.

We accept the Tax Free Childcare scheme.

We offer fully funded 15- and 30-hour childcare places, free at the point of delivery.
