Elizabeth House: A Bold New Approach to Early Years Careers

In August 2024, Elizabeth House opened to families with a team of 14 new and dedicated employees. Each of them took a leap of faith, believing in a bold new vision for childcare—one that dared to do things differently. These 14 pioneering childcare workers saw the incredible opportunities that Elizabeth House had to offer, including:

A people-first approach – Prioritising staff happiness and well-being, knowing that a supported team delivers the highest quality childcare.

A culture of growth – Providing training, mentorship, and encouragement to help staff reach their full potential.

A commitment to excellence – Building a reputation for outstanding childcare, adored by both parents and children.

Recognition and reward – Valuing nursery employees for their essential role in the community and in shaping young lives—reflected in a truly fair, high living wage.

Today, Elizabeth House has grown into a thriving community with over 40 employees and a well-earned reputation as one of the top childcare providers in the area. With state-of-the-art facilities and a warm, family-like environment, this is more than just a workplace—it’s a place to grow, thrive, and make a lasting impact.
